These workshops offer limited class size, hands on experience, and more time with our experts. For many past attendees, this was the most valuable component of the entire event. Add a one or two workshops to your AOC ticket at checkout!
This interactive, hands-on workshop is designed for small business owners and digital marketers who want to leverage AI tools to revolutionize their video creation and editing processes. Led by video pro Lou Bortone, participants will dive into practical demonstrations and get their hands dirty with live practice using leading AI video tools like Descript and Pictory. Prepare to enhance your video marketing strategy and production with cutting-edge technology, making your content creation faster, more efficient, and engaging. (Please bring your laptop and load the free versions of Descript and Pictory.ai).

Where and when is the event this year?
The Conference will take place on Wednesday, 10/9, at Abromson Center at USM. The Workshops will take place on Thursday, 10/10, at The Regency Hotel.
What are the parking options?
Conference on 10/9: Parking is available in Parking Garage 1 off Bedford Street and P6 University of Maine Law School lot at the rate of $10 per car per day. You can add parking to your ticket when you checkout. Upon entering the parking garage or lot on 10/9 you will see a QR code that will allow you to begin your parking session. This must start within 10 minutes of parking. If you prefer to pre-schedule your session prior to arriving you can do so by downloading the Honk Mobile app for Android or IOS.
Workshops on 10/10: The Regency Hotel, where the workshops are taking place, offers valet parking. The Custom House Parking Garage at 25 Pearl St. is the closest public parking garage, with other lots nearby.
What’s the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable! Dress as relaxed or as fancy as you like. Take a look at some of the photos and videos from previous years to get a sense of how people showed up, if you like.
Can I attend the Conference without attending the Workshops, and vice versa?
Absolutely! Choose the experience that works for you. Of course, there is a discount when you bundle the events!
Is lunch included?
Yes! We will be offering boxed lunches and you will have the choice to specify your lunch preference at checkout: It’s All Good, Vegetarian, Gluten Free.
In years past you offered a live stream. Will you be offering that again?
Yes! The live stream will be available of the presentations that take place in Hannaford Hall on 10/9. We’re changing things up a bit, and the live stream is something that didn’t make this year’s cut. However, we are also recording the Conference, and you’ll be able to purchase the on-demand pass so you can watch on your own schedule. If you’re attending the Conference, you can upgrade your ticket to include the on-demand recordings or grab a VIP ticket and your on-demand tickets are free!
What’s the difference between the VIP Ticket and the Regular Ticket?
There are a few things that differ between the two. Based on popular demand, VIP ticket holders will be able to attend a VIP lunch that will include all the speakers! They’ll also get the on-demand recordings, an expedited registration process, a sweet AOC knit cap, and more.
However, there are only 50 VIP tickets, so grab yours before they’re all gone!
What’s your refund policy?
We know things change. Regardless of when you purchase your tickets, you can get a full refund until 8/1/2024, and a 50% refund up until 9/1/2024. You can transfer your ticket to another person at any point…just let us know!
Did you change your branding? And are there new agents?
Hey! Thanks for noticing. Yes, after over a decade of AOC we decided it was time for an update and an upgrade. Also, when we first started, our focus was on Search, Social, and Mobile marketing. But times have changed, and so we recruited three new agents: Neuro (for neuromarketing), AI, and Blockchain.
